The CD '' A Pilgrim to Sacred Places'' has been released in Korea, 2011 May.
2011 Erna Mögenburg Stiftung Germany awarded a scholarship to the Kim Trio. Jiyeon Kim is the Princpal Cellist of the Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra since 2010, whose musical director is Nanse Gum.
Recently the Kim Trio received the Annemarie and Hermann Rauhe Award for contemporary Chamber Music Hamburg 2009.
The Norwegian composer Oddvar Lönner dedicated his work "Der Awatar und die Menschen" to the Kim Trio. Its premiere follows in December, Vienna.
